I don't think I could suit up for another country just to compete in the Olympics. Every Olympiad there are stories of athletes with tenuous ties to another country who play for the other side. I'm not talking naturalized citizens..i'm talking about the guy who's grandmother came from Germany and he's now wearing the colors of Deutschland...no matter that he can't understand a thing his teammates are saying.
Believe me, the dream of the Olympics would be tempting. I just don't think I could feel right about it.
I'll let you know if this dilemma comes up.

totally agree with you on this. bewildered how people can rep other countries. couldn't do it. i'm sure it'll be something you and i will have to worry about too.
