Went to see Cornelius and Plaid last night at the Walt Disney Music Hall. The show was good. the sound and visuals were fantastic. Many in attendance were Disney Hall subscribers so it was fun to see older concert goers experience a music they probably don't have cue'd up on their old-people turntables at the home. I kid.
Also a bonus. When you go to the symphony patrons feel obligated to give crazy standing ovations. Like 5 minutes sometimes. I clap for a second and haul ass out of there to beat the crowd. (cmon, its not like i'm leaving early...i clap with my wallet.) anyway...hauling ass to the parking garage... to get there you have to take a series of escalators. While getting on the first escalator I realized I was standing directly behind actor John C. Reilly who had the same idea I did to get out while the getting was good. So I rode down like 4 escalators with him. Didn't say a word to him...i'm no rube.

i didn't let timpratt say anything to sean penn when we saw him at the movie theatre (blade runner). i wonder if he's bummed at me for it.
