SPEED WE CAN BELIEVE IN

Is a Kentuckian poised to become the world's fastest human? Tyson Gay of Lexington blasted to the Olympic trials win Sunday with a wind-aided time of 9.68 seconds. Not a world-record because of the wind, but the fastest time anyone has ever posted. Pretty amazing stuff and all the more sweet because unlike his predecessor Gay is not a raging asshole or a cheater. Tyson will attempt to win the Gold in the 100m and 200m events as well as some relays. We are 37 days from the opening ceremonies. We are excited.
