After a disasterous 1st half of the season the Wildcats are on the brink of making the NCAA Tournament. After their loss to San Diego (a team that made the tournament btw) i was ready to write off their chances- too many embarassing losses with the brutal SEC schedule yet to be played. Well, the Cats turned it around and finished 2nd in the SEC East- notching big wins against Vanderbilt, Tennessee and finally beating Florida after what seems like forever (2004-05 season)- Quite a turnaround. Good job by Co SEC coach of the year Billy Gillispie. I still think they are on the bubble, but a win tonight will help them a lot.
