I actually saw a little bit of this one! (I was visiting a friend who likes it.) I saw about 20 minutes of it, which is more American Idol than I've ever seen in my life. I wanted that kid with the glasses to go to Hollywood, but I guess that's what happens when you can't hit that high note on "You Raise Me Up."
My two-word recap for this episode is "unbelievably awkward." Especially the part at the end when there are 24 people dancing on a giant stage, but they have to be sardine-close so they can all be in the frame. I think if I had been among them, I would have had a panic attack.
